Downstairs:
The downstairs area contains the Love A Duck Restaurant, air- conditioned gaming room, bar, full TAB and lounge area.
The air conditioned gaming room has twelve multi game machines, with mystery jackpot starting at $500. You have more chance of winning the jackpot here with less machines plus the $500 start- up frees up more money for regular pays.
The TAB is just like your local TAB. Full service, not a coin machine like some other places. There are five dedicated TAB televisions.
There is a large screen television in the lounge area and a larger one in the Bistro area. With SKY and four decoders there are no arguments here.
The downstairs bar has nine beers on tap, starting at $4.70 (member’s price) for a real pint. All your favourite bottled beers and r.t.d.s are also available, plus a good wine list.
The ground floor abuts and overlooks Takapuna Services & Social Bowling Club’s artificial & flood lit green.
Slipping out through the sliding doors from downstairs gives access to the ‘Coffin Club’ and the bowling- green. The ‘Coffin Club’ welcomes smoking members. Fully covered and enclosed except for mandatory opening, the ‘Coffin Club’ has comfortable seating and tables, plus gas heating and television.
Upstairs:
The upstairs area contains, lounge seating one hundred plus leaners, dance floor with portable stage, free library, bar, free snooker and free pool tables, dart boards and two televisions. The upstairs area is very good for private functions
